Students should plan to attend summer school every day and are allowed a maximum of two absences. Please rearrange work schedules, vacations, and appointments so that students can be in class each day.

Students are awarded a Pass (P) if they achieve a passing grade in summer school. No letter grades are awarded.

Registration and Fees:

There are two ways to register:

  1. Complete the online registration form. This is the easiest way to register. Just fill in the required information and press “finished.” Your information will be automatically received by the summer school office.
  2. Print and complete the paper registration form. Fill in the required information and submit this form to your school’s bookkeeper.

Fee schedule:

Credit recovery class tuition is $200.

Paying fees:

Regardless of which way you prefer to register, fees are paid to your school’s bookkeeper. Be sure to hold onto your receipt.

Fee waiver/reduction:

Assistance is available to students who currently qualify for free/reduced lunch. Talk to your school bookkeeper for more information.

Registration deadline:

Register early because some classes fill up. Chances of being registered for the class you need are much better if you register early. Don’t delay!

Tuition will be refunded if a student withdraws by the end of the first week. Tuition is not reimbursed after the first week of classes.

We will make every attempt to run all classes offered. However if insufficient numbers of students enroll in a class then the class may be combined with other classes or cancelled altogether. If a class is cancelled the district may choose to serve students through the district’s Internet Academy or through other class options at its choosing. Students are then enrolled in on-line courses and will be monitored by and receive some assistance from the PSD On-line Coordinator. All on-line students receive instruction by an on-line teacher who specializes in specified courses.
